PODOLOG® MOON PROFESSIONAL - The new moon in the foot carers’ sky

PODOLOG® MOON is RUCK’s new range of treatment chairs. Just as the moon is our planet’s natural and faithful satellite, these new chairs were developed to support you in our daily work.

Another novelty: The PODOLOG® MOON range is finished in RUCK’s very own manufacture. The highly motivated staff team guarantees - together with everything RUCK stands for - a high-quality manufacturing process. The newly built production site is near RUCK’s headquarters. Here, it is possible to view the professionals during their work, just like in a transparent factory (“gläserne Manufaktur”): PODOLOG® MOON professional is the top model of our new beauty chair range. It is qualified as a class 1 medical product and supports loads up to 250kg.

The plywood elements are available in natural walnut or white CPL (continuous pressure laminate) and are a distinguishing feature of the MOON professional beauty chair. Other options include leg rests adjustable via a magnetic pull-out without rotating knob, electric adjustment of leg rest height, backrest incline adjustment with patient switch, and a specific soft cushion. The newly developed foot switch includes four memory functions which can be individually programmed for up to three foot carers.

The PODOLOG® MOON professional sets new ergonomic work standards.

WORK IN A STANDING POSITION FROM THE RIGHT SIDE

WORK IN A STANDING POSITION FROM THE RIGHT SIDE

As a foot care provider, treating nails and feet in a standing position is back-friendly and provides a clear work field. To treat the left foot, move the rest of the patient’s right foot (from carer’s point of view) to the left or lower it to gain easy access of the left foot. This is a systematic approach for ergonomic working.

WORK IN A STANDING POSITION FROM THE FRONT

WORK IN A STANDING POSITION FROM THE FRONT

To treat the soles, it is best to work directly from the front. Whether you sit or - preferably - stand, keep your field of work always at eye level with the easily adjustable chair height and moveable footrests.

TREATMENT OF THE SHOULDERS AND THE NECK

The customer lies in a prone position, arms on the armrests. The treatment chair is in a supine position and at a comfortable height to work in an upright position.

FACIAL TREATMENT / HEADREST

FACIAL TREATMENT / HEADREST

Individual height adjustment to suit the positions of your knees and thighs. This makes for a more relaxed work position and provides optimum view of your work area.

WORK FROM THE RIGHT SIDE

WORK FROM THE RIGHT SIDE

From the foot carer’s point of view start working on the right side and continue with the left side to insure shorter workflow. Fold the left leg rest down and start working on the right side. Then fold the right side down, move to the left side and fold this leg rest up again and continue your work.

COMPACT WORKING SPACE

The mobile instrument cabinet ROOM move supports ergonomic work processes. Magnifier lamp, instruments, and disposal container - all within reach (range 2.3m).

SECURE ENTRY

SECURE ENTRY

Practice-oriented ergonomics, secure side entry at a height of 53 cm. The foot carer’s working space is therefore being evaded.

ROUNDED ARMS

ROUNDED ARMS

Maintaining rounded positions for your arms is beneficial for your arms and wrists. Remind yourself during treatment regularly of the optimum position, check your posture, and avoid outstretched arms.

CORRECT ARM HEIGHT

CORRECT ARM HEIGHT

Try to avoid arm and hand positions that are higher than your shoulders. This could lead to tense muscles and signs of fatigue. A 90° angle is the optimum.
